“Investor Education Developments in the EU and Around the Globe” Conference Takes Place in Madrid October 1-2, 2007
News Advisory - Madrid, Spain and Washington, D.C. - October 1-2, 2007More than 100 investor education experts from around the world will gather October 1-2, 2007 at the first joint investor education conference of the International Forum for Investor Education (IFIE) and the International Organization of Securities Commissions (IOSCO). The IFIE/IOSCO conference will take place at the Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME), Plaza de la Lealtad 1, Madrid, Spain. Major investor education initiatives around the globe – including the implications of the November 1st deadline for the EU Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (MiFID) -- will be highlighted in this major event bringing together experts from the world’s leading regulatory organizations, stock exchanges, and financial firms.
